Never before has it been done. 5 individual singers, each with different interests in music, have come together to infuse their tastes. Ladies and gentlemen, Protégé is dead. Long life.....INFUZION!!

InFuzion is a name that has two meanings. Of course, the infusion of the difference in musical interest takes on one of the meanings, and then there's a meaning that ultimately defines the group. That meaning, is the incompletion of two seperate groups that have combined together.

Protégé was originally formed in 1999 under the tutalage of JUSTIN DOLAK, SEAN JULIAN and DAMIEN SARSORITO. For months the three would work, until Damien had to move to Las Vegas, leaving the group at a stalemate. Sean however quickly found DALE MARTIN, and things started to look up. Eventually, things for the group broke down and personal differences forced the three to go their seperate ways

Meanwhile, another group was working hard to revolutionize the pop world. GUS ALCAZAR and JAVIER PAS headed this group. However, just like Protégé, Gus, Javier and others parted.

Many years passed as Justin attempted very hard to keep Protégé alive. At one point, he had a full five, but after obtaining the first five, things fell apart very quickly. Eventually, he gave up, and decided to go solo. He released a CD called Eternity. Though the release of the album was deemed a success, the overall sale of the CD bombed. Justin then contacted Sean about reforming their old group. Sean agreed as long as Justin went out and got someone. Talks went on for a couple of months before Justin said "Wait, I know someone".

Gus went stagnant for awhile before getting caught up in numerous projects. He went from church, to solo, to background work. The stress was catching up to Gus and worry was starting to plague him. He wondered if things would ever work out. Then one day, he got a phone call from an old friend...

Justin called Gus and brought up that he had something going for a group. Gus agreed to try it out. They met just a week later with Sean and they started fooling around with some ideas. Then, it happened. During a run through of the classic *NSYNC smash hit "This I Promise You" a perfect harmony ensued. Justin, Sean and Gus, admittedly explained that the harmony was an "accident". However, it was enough to give the guys a new hope about their careers.

They began to look for new members. Justin went as far to post an internet ad. But it was during a late night phone call that the group then known as Protégé got a fourth member. Gus had brought up his work with Javier. Justin, having heard a bit of what Gus and Javier had together, suggested that Javier come try it out. Gus quickly got intouch with Javier and brought him to the group's second ever meeting. They then went through a run through of Just Got Paid and This I Promise You and once again, the harmonies "accidentally" produced themselves and the group's hope was once again, renewed.

Later that same night, Justin, Gus and Sean were having a three way phone conversation. Justin had told Gus that instead of just focusing on Pop/Hip-Hop/R&B, that they could blend their different musical interests together and have an infusion of different sounds all in one. Sean, being silly as always, suggested that the new name of the group being "infusion". After a laugh, Justin said the three words that would solidify the new name of the group: "I like that" The rest is history.

And that is the story of the revolutionary force in pop entertainment. InFuzion. It's more than music. It's a way of life.
